I get prompted twice for a master password.

Recently the master password prompt modal appears twice when I start Firefox, once as soon as I open it, then while I'm getting password ready, I'll get another modal on top of whatever window is on top. This is really frustrating because I loose focus on the windows I need to retrieve my password. It seems to have just started happening, perhaps after a recent update.

If in the above linked thread there is no solution for your problem, you could try Firefox in Safe Mode, to see if maybe one of your extensions (if you have any) is causing this :
