Has anyone seen this or similar issues? The site is https://mailgun.com or https://login.mailgun.com/login/ . (Volunteers, please be nice. Don't spam this site.)

After Centos 7.7 upgrade, using either of the last two versions of firefox for Centos Linux, I get "The CSRF session token is missing" after entering my email address at the username prompt.

The website is capable of writing data to my browser. It does. I see cookies written by looking in the preferences when I visit the https://mailgun.com. More are written when clicking on the [login] link. There even seem to be an update to the cookie data after I enter my email address and click [next]. Yet, only in Firefox on my Centos workstation after the 7.7 upgrade, I get "The CSRF Session Token is Missing".

I can successfully login to the same website from FireFox or Chrome on my Win10 workstation. Has anyone experienced similar issues after updating to Centos 7.7?

Are you using the Firefox version from the Mozilla server or a version from the repositories in Centos ?

Are you using any content blockers?

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Manage Data

"Clear the Cache":

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
