Clear access to incoming emails
T Bird information & ads pages will not delete . They are blocking my access to my incoming email pages. This is BAD as the messages are from my Physician.. Am 95 years old, need this information urgently

Do you mean the Home page saying "Welcome to Thunderbird"? If you select a folder from the folder pane and a message from the thread pane, you open the message instead. If you don't want to see the home page when starting Thunderbird, press F10 and choose Tools > Options > General and uncheck "When Thunderbird launches, show the Start Page in the message area"
