I'm trying to paste text into a text field so that I can list stuff for sale on eBay. When I paste what I've written in my word processor (LibreOffice) the text I paste will not change to the text style I have preset in the text field for my eBay listing. If I were doing this in another word processor I would be able to use a Paste Special command so that the text I'm pasting would automatically change to fit the text style already in use in the document.

Does Firefox not support this ???? Why Not?????

You can try "Ctrl+Shift+V".

Thanks. I had tried to use various combinations, I guess I simply didn't try this one. Is there some reason the more common Ctrl-Alt-Shift-V doesn't work? Why doesn't all applications use the same standardized key combinations?

Speaking of which, why isn't there a key combo chart? And for that matter, is there no documentation for Firefox? Like something you download to get help instead of having to go onto the Internet to ask questions? I must have missed it, I can't believe there isn't one.

Thanks again, you were a big help!

In my experience, ctl+shft+v is standard. There is a list of keyboard shortcuts below; it may not include copy and paste (never looked).
