Calendar events lost after upgrade to 102.1.2
Thunderbird recently prompted me that an update was available to v 102.1.2 (although the release notes say it can't be installed this way yet). Not sure which version I had before, but probably the last before 102 as I update when prompted. I wasn't paying enough attention, of course I should have realised it was a major upgrade and backed up my data first ...
Email seems fine but I now can't see some calendar events, depending on the view: Day and Week show no events at all, Multiweek and Month show up to and including 4 Sep 22. I can't see any events beyond 4 September, although there is a multiday event that start on 2 Sep - it's not visible in the calendar after 4 Sep but the details still show the end date as 11 Sep.
Some recurring events have disappeared completely, but one on 31 Aug is visible in Multiweek but not in Month view. So maybe the events are still there but not being displayed?
I had been using the "Calendar Tweaks" add-on, which is no longer supported, so I removed that and restarted Thunderbird, but it had no effect. I also see that there have been a few issues like this with earlier upgrades, but none of the fixes seem to match the current state of things. Would really appreciate it if anyone knows how to fix this.

If you were using a 91* version then you would still be receiving auto updates to another 91* version.
However, if you have some updater software program running on your computer then it might have detected a new release on the official website which is 102* and prompted you to download and install it. But it was not Thunderbird.
Thunderbird is not offering any auto update from a version of 91* to a version of 102* yet.
If you are running 102* then you must have manually downloaded from the official website and then installed it. However, from then onwards you would get auto updates to further 102* versions.
Regarding Calendar:
Try the following:
- Menu app icon > Help > More Troubleshooting Information
- Under 'Applications Basics' half way -Profile Folders - click on 'Open Folder'
A new window opens showing the contents of your 'profile name' folder.
- Exit Thunderbird now - this is important
- click on 'calendar-data' folder
currently you are using the 'local.sqlite' file, so do the following to keep but rename.
- rename 'local.sqlite' file to say 'local.sqlite.old'
- Click on 'backup' folder
You should have a file called 'local.v22.sqlite'
- Copy the 'local.v22.sqlite' file and then paste it into the 'calendar-data' folder
- rename the copied 'local.v22.sqlite' file to say 'local.sqlite' - ( just remove the .v22 )
Then start Thunderbird.
Thanks for the reply Toad-Hall. I'm certainly not aware of any other updater (apart from Windows Update) running on my PC - the prompt appeared to come from Thunderbird but I guess something else must have been going on. I've followed your instructions exactly but it hasn't helped I'm afraid. There are now no events after 29 November 2021 showing in the calendar. The date on the local.v22.sqlite I copied is 9 November 2021 so that would make some sense except that the recurring events are still missing too - there should be birthdays etc. but these are completely missing, even before 29 Nov 21.
