I don't understand the difference between a default browser and a search engine. I am tired of Google but everything is associated with google.so I downloaded Firefox but I'm had duck duck go but heck now I've got the tor browser

The default browser is the web browser app that your Android device uses by default.

A search engine is a web service that helps you find content online
