I'm using firefox on m1 mac with the help of a proxy tool, like loon. But every time i try to search with google or duckduckgo or bing and other search engines on firefox with the function of mitm of the proxy tool open, i was told "Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to duckduckgo.com. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.".

I have tried to import the cert of the proxy tool into the firefox, but it doesn't work.

And it won't happen on other chromium browser and safari under the same settings of the proxy tool.

What should i do to prevent firefox blocking my searching?

Hi there! It sounds like you're encountering a security warning in Firefox due to the proxy tool you're using. To address this, you can try these steps: First, ensure you've correctly imported the proxy tool's certificate into Firefox. If that doesn't work, go to Firefox's settings, search for "Certificates," and click on "View Certificates." From there, add the proxy certificate under the "Authorities" tab. If the issue persists, it's possible that the proxy tool's setup might need adjustment. Check if there are any specific settings related to SSL interception or certificate handling in the proxy tool. Remember, it's always important to exercise caution with proxy tools, as they can sometimes trigger security warnings. Hope this helps you resolve the issue!
