Copy or sync only some bookmarks (and site passwords) between profiles
Hi,
I wish to provide a co worker with access to some websites (and provide the site passwords), this will involve - from what I can see setting up a separate FF profile (that we both sync to - by using a Firefox Account) on my PC, somehow copying the bookmarks and passwords from my general profile into a new 'co worker' profile, the co worker (via sync) would then see the bookmark, and then hopefully also have the password available.
I can see how to export/import all my bookmarks, or have her sync to my 'general' FF account quite easily, but I only want to give her access to work related bookmarks and PWds.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Using Sync to sync data like bookmarks or passwords is all or nothing. You would have to use a backup that only has those bookmarks and passwords.

- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/import-bookmarks-html-file
You can export the logins to CSV.
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-login-data-firefox
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/import-login-data-file
You need to enable Import from CSV in the Password Manager (about:logins) via the about:config page if this menu item currently is hidden.
- about:config => signon.management.page.fileImport.enabled => true
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-config-editor-firefox
You can refresh the about:logins page or close and restart Firefox to make the "Import from a File" menu item appear in the three-dot menu on about:logins.
Note that for bookmarks you can look at this extension:
Thats very helpful.
I have used a combination of exporting passwords to csv, and manually copying and pasting rows of PWds that are needed for the new profile into a separate CSV and importing.
I have found Bookmark LLama to solve the per folder sharing of Bookmarks, did Firefox Sync not many years ago do this ?? cant remember, would be good feature to include in Sync.
