I have tried different things. I can't find solution. I have tried, Account Settings with my name.

My previous Thunderbird did this no problem. I got a new PC. I'm trying to configure.

When I send an email, the receiver just sees my email address.

How do I change it so that in the correspondent/from column shows my name?

Many thanks!

It seems that you're saying that the receiving person only sees your email address in their software? If that's the case, the recipient needs to deal with the issue.

Are you saying that the 'Recipient' or 'From' column in TB's list of emails is not displaying how you want it to and only showing an email address? Each address book entry has a 'Display As' field that can be used to have the email display as you wish in both 'Recipient' and 'From' columns
