The text on some web pages shows up as open boxes - as if it is not identifiying a character set. I have reinstalled Firefox and all profile files with no success.
MANY pages show text as open box characters - rendering the pages unreadable. I have a screen shot of just one example to show here: http://avgraphics.net/openboxes.png. Please help! I cannot do my web work with this problem.

Looks that you have a problem with the Tahoma font that is specified for that text.
.style1 { font-family: Tahoma;font-size: 11pt; }
You can do a check for corrupted fonts and other font issues:
