Open Firefox. Open System Preferences. It will open on to a page called MAIN On that page it will give you options as to how to select how to make Firefox your default browser. Good luck.

Open Firefox. Go into preferences from the top Firefox tab Click on the "advanced" icon at the top The bottom line gives an option to set system defaults. Good luck!
