Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."

Aha! No, starting in Safe mode makes it work!

I go through an individually diable all of the add-ons until I find which one is causing the issue.

I had this problem after after installation of Babelfish 1.93 add on. I solved it by unticking in Babelfish options Configuration/Accessibility/Show translation tooltip on: Ctrl Left Click.

Disabled extension Tab Mix Plus 0.3.8.6, now ctrl + left click opens links in new tabs
