Type in search box or address box and letters delete before I am done. Boarder flashes constantly and dropdown menus disappear quickly.
Why does the words I type into the search box or address box become highlighted as I type and are deleted? Also boarder is constantly flashing and drop down menu disappears quickly so you can not select anything.

There's a few extensions that have caused that problem for other users.
Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."

I have the same problem in Firefox safemode.
