unable to create account in Firefox Sync Setup "unknown error" when entering User Name (lower case alpha only)

when entering User Name in Create Your Sync Account, Red X with error message "Unknown error" appears below User Name field

User Name contains only lower case alpha characters

Password, Confirm Password & e-mail appear to be accepted

"Next" button is greyed out so I am unable to proceed.

Help will be appreciated

This only occurs with user names that are all lower-case. Until this is fixed, add a capital letter to your desired user name.
