When I download a file or wav from an email and then I go to attach it to an email I'm sending out, I can't find it.......where does Firefox store the downloads?

Tools > Options > General - Downloads - Save files to
The default location is the Downloads folder in your user folders.
C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\Downloads\

Thanks for the prompt reply. I checked my Download Folder and they aren't there. I know that's where they are supposed to be.....that's where they are designated to go.....but they are NOT there. I am at a loss. I watch them download in the little window that pops up in the upper left hand side of my screen. However, when I go to upload them into an email, they are no where to be found. If I go back to the original email and try to download them again, I get a message that the file already exists......HELP!!!!

If you know the name of the file or part of it, perform a Windows Search and see if the dog can dig anything up. Remember to have the search look at hidden and system files and all logical disks on your PC.

{Ctrl + J} to open the downloads window. If those files are still listed there, right-click and select Open Containing Folder - that's where that file should be located.
