I can set type size through View each time I open Firefox, but how do I make the change permanent.

With Firefox 3, I set the type size and bold feature once and it always returned to the same setting when I opened Firefox subsequently. With Firefox 4, even though I set a default type size in my Internet Options (Content tab), it doesn't seem to have an effect. I can change font size with the View option on the menu bar each time I open Firefox, but it reverts back to its original size the next time I open Firefox.
