Hyphens appear as questions marks in diamonds on the page.

You can check the encoding that is used by Firefox to display the page via View > Character Encoding and switch to UTF-8 or Western (ISO-8959-1).
You can also try the Auto-Detect > Universal setting
- Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
