If you can post your question here, that means you have already registered and logged on. Why do you want to register a new account? You can use the same one "tribalwind" to answer any posts.

you did not read my post thoroughly .... i am using CHROME to register and post here. the issue is with FF.

Do you have the add-on "NoScript" installed? If you do, disable it and see if you can log in.

I just realized that you said you have disabled all add-ons and still have problems. My last resource will be: Do you have "3rd party cookies" checked. If not, check it to see if that helps.

yes i have "accept all cookies" and 3rd party checked.. sigh..wonder what is causing this..

i think i'll downgrade to FF3.6 or whatever the previous version was..this FF4 is still too buggy.. i also have an incredibly frustrating issue viewing certain embedded images on sites like facebook and even yahoo etc now...jsut not worth the hassle for the few new features i like on ff4.

thanks for trying'

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

i've tried those things, are you using FF4 without this issue?

Make sure that you do not block the referrer.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

Do you have some external proxy settings blocking your connection from firefox?
