pc to kindle via usb download problems

i have loaded books from a cd onto my pc and then downloaded to kindle via usb. this is not working at the moment.it appears to be in the kindle but when i check it is not there. i wondered if firefox is blocking

This type of problem seem like it has to do with the sync between you PC and Kindle. Most likely you won't receive much help here. Your best bet for finding a solution is Amazon's support section for the Kindle. You can find it located here http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200127470 .
