Ever since I upgraded firefox yahoo page looks funny most of the time

It's a white page with choices all down the left side like when there is a problem with yahoo but if I use Explorer it is okay. This week it started to appear normal but now it went back to the strange looking page, no pics, just text choices on left side. Also, when I used to turn of computer it would give me a choice to save and quit up in top left corner which it does not do since I upgraded Firefox.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
