Nothing happens when I attempt to print from Firefox. I have no such problems with IE or Chrome. Why can't I print?

Whenever I try to print from FF, nothing happens, no error messages and no printing. If I go to the same page using Chrome, I have no problems. Should I uninstall and reinstall FF? If so, how can I export my bookmarks? Whenever I attempt to backup or export my current bookmarks using the instructions in the help file, I am told I have no bookmarks to export. Not true!
