Firefox crashes

We were without power for 8 days (CT). We were away for another 8 days. When we tried to start Mozzla Firefox, we received an apology that Firefox could not get "Google". We on our end could not get Firefox to run. You have too many help items for issues that do not follow (in our opinion) the extraordinary issues, such as loss of power and extended shut downs of our computer.

We are looking for something to restore our Firefox so we can get to our favorite items.
