getting rid of unwanted password recovery page

in trying to retrieve toolbar from home page, the password for that page was required. Googe (the site) apparently doesn't directly connect to my address and the password recovery page is now blocking Firefox (apparently Google is not my addy's direct whatever). HELP!!!!

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
