When i go to a site and type my username and password. No popup comes up in firefox to save the password. I'm running windows 7, could this be the problem. I have the latest version of firefox and i have reinstalled it many times. Please help.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.

To see all History and Cookie settings, choose:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"

Are you remembering passwords?

  • Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Remember passwords for sites"
