How do I authorize links to local files in Firefox?
I can open links to my local files in IE but I need to be able to do this in Firefox. All of the information I found online is not helping. Is there a way to do it through the Internet settings?

First, you'll want to update to Firefox 13.0.1. You are using Firefox 4 which is extremely old and out of date (thus insecure).
After you do that, does the issue still happen? What exactly are you trying to achieve?
Well updating is a problem. I can't update unless I go through IT which could take a while. So as of right now I am stuck with version 4. All I am trying to do is open some files on the local network via hyperlinks. Every time I click on one it doesn't do anything.
