Why is it that Suddenly when I try to watch Video like on You Tube, all I get is a black box? No buffering, NOTHING.

As of last night, I lost the ability to watch you Tube videos using my Firefox Mozilla browser. Even You Tube videos loaded to other sites will not play (like on blogs). All appear just as a black box; not even the You Tube logo shows. Conversely, they work when I use Internet Explorer. my laptop is only one month old (IBM Think Pad). I have Windows 7 that it came with. I cleared recent history, cache, etc. nothing fixed it. Why did this suddenly happen and can you fix it or educate me on how to fix it, please. You can check for problems caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and possibly downgrade to Flash 11.2 or 10.3.

Thanks, I'll try it. Meanwhile, I called the sales guy at the store where I purchased my laptop one month ago and asked himitalic text' about it and he advised me to just download Google Chrome and skip the many updates I would have to do to Firefox and I did. I still like Firefox, but Chrome isn't bad and my videos PLAY!
