i cant use any site's search bar

today i went to go on youtube and realized that i cant type in the search bar. i tried another site and it was the same. my norton safe search bar is unusable aswell. i went into internet explorer and had no problems so it has to be firefox.

Is that the search bar on the Navigation Toolbar or a search embedded on web pages?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
