I have been noticing for the past few weeks that at certain times the format on certain webpages has changed. anyone experiencing this issue? I have to always restart my computer in order to get the original format back, the websites I have encountered is with Facebook and my Yahoo webpage. I even had to reset Mozilla and cleared by cache and still get the same problem. It usually occurs when the computer is on standby for more than a few hours.

Try to reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files if it happens.

  • Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (MAC)

Sounds that you get some kind of cache corruption.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
