When I try to update the plugin for Googleearth (says it is vulnerable) all I get is a new tab that says the same thing.
I keep getting messages (Norton 360) that say my plugin container is using too many resources. I have tried to update all the plugins, but Googleearth just puts me into some sort of a loop and nothing happens.
My computer is running slower every day.

On the Google Earth update, I found an earlier thread where someone reported this problem, Plugin check 'Update Now' link redirects to itself.
If the plugincheck update link for the Google Earth plugin isn't working, try to manually update it from here:
