Not able to attach files to email account from my hard drive

Firefox will not attach files (from my hard drive - mostly MS Word and PDF files) to my email accounts or job application sites. I tried using Internet Explorer and was able to attach files. So, the problem seem to be Firefox.

I prefer to use Firefox, so please help!

Also try attach in safe mode:

Did you check the settings in your security software to make sure that it isn't blocking the attachments?

Tried clearing history, in safe mode, even uninstall and reinstalled Firefox. Nothing worked.
