Soluzione scelta

browser.newtab.url determines what page opens when you open a new tab. It has nothing to do with which tabs open at startup. You can set any web page as its value, e.g. https://us.yahoo.com

You control what opens at startup under Options - General. You can set multiple pages as your homepage by separating the URLs with a | symbol, like so:

  1. Set "When Firefox starts: Show my homepage"
  2. If you want Yahoo! and the Add-ons Manager as your homepage, set your homepage to about:addons|https://us.yahoo.com
