The link mentioned above does not load in any browser (chrome, firefox or IE). Flushing DNS and clearing caches/cookies have made no difference.

Also, if I click any tab on the poorly loaded link, the error "forbidden 403" pops up. I could find that the following error is browser specific, but that doesn't appear to happen in this case. The page does not open let it be chrome or firefox or IE.

P.S: Using a proxy allows me to open that link properly, and the developer tool of mozilla shows me following javascript errors "reference error : $ is not defined"

Please help..

Can you tell us if you still have the problem? One could think the edx server was down.

I'm currently using your link without any problem.

Do you see any content on that page or is only some missing?

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if this helps.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

There is nothing wrong with the server, its been two days that the link does not load properly

I am not sure why a malware would block particularly that link alone, and nothing else. Everything else works fine

while attaching the screenshot, the error uploading image pops up

nitinkatyal,

Make sure the file is in PNG format. SUMO also employs a file size limit, so that's probably what you are getting.

Did you try to type the URL of the home page of that website in the location bar?

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.

It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

I've done that already... your solution is browser specific, and as I have mentioned, the web page does not load in any browser, not even IE
