How can I find my sent folder and my trash folder and my spam folder? None show in the left panel anymore.
Up until today, I could access my SENT, TRASH, SPAM, etc. folders from a list on the left side of my screen or by clicking the "inbox" tab icon at the very upper left hand corner of my Thunderbird screen. (The little envelope with the downward-pointing green arrow on top immediately followed by "Inbox"). It is totally unresponsive now.
I click View/Toolbars/ and all four are checked - Mail Toolbar, Menu Bar, Status Bar, QUick FIlter Bar
I click View/Folders, and "All" is checked.
I am desperate...if I lose the sent messages, I will have lost tons of work for my non-profit. I have Thunderbird for years and years..... and NEVER had something like this happen. I can sent you screen caps, .....anything, but PLEASE help me get this info back.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Chosen solution
When I closed all the open tabs, and then right-clicked on the remaining "Inbox" tab, the drop down box did contain the "Close Other Tabs" choice...but it is greyed out.
I have solved my problem, but going to a friend's computer with Thunderbird, and then studying his configurations, and was able to again again access to my sent, trash and spam folders simply by dragging the left hand border of the Thunderbird "inbox" to the right, revealing the other folders in a panel. (Oddly, with my friend's Thunderbird email, under View/Layout (from the menu bar), there is an option to check "folder pane", but that was ghosted out before I dragged the left-hand border of my Thunderbird to reveal this folder pane.
Thank you for your assistance.
