History Button?
I think the main thing that this Firefox version totally broke for me was the removal of the orange button. With IT, I could easily access last closed tabs and windows as well as navigate throughout my previous pages without the need to click buttons after buttons...
Either there is an add-on for that; this button comes back or else I'm seriously migrating to a new browser. Who cares for this customization? It used to be WAY easier to manage my add-ons, bookmarks, history, passwords ETC ETC ETC...

Open the menu in the top-right corner (the one with the three-bars icon). Select "Customize". Drag the History icon to where you want it to appear, then exit the customize screen.
Does this do what you need?
I made some maps showing where items from the orange Firefox button menu moved in the new "3-bar" button menu:

If you much prefer the old style, there's an add-on you can use to get it back. This article has more details: How to make the new Firefox look like the old Firefox.
What I REALLY REQUIRE, is the RECENTLY CLOSED TABS button (I was addicted to it!) I already know about that history button. Trying to get used to this! I will try that button guys, hope it fulfills my needs as the old version did, thank you for your attention.
The Recently Closed Tabs changed from a button to a list, so the last title from each closed tab is listed there on the new menu below the line reading "Restore Closed Tabs".
If you prefer using the "fly out" menu, maybe you could try showing the classic menu bar? To turn that on, you can right-click a blank area of the tab bar (or the "+" button on the tab bar) and choose Menu Bar.
I'm currently using the add-on to make it look like the old version haha thank you for attention (:
