I can not send message, always ask me password,but my password is right.

I can receive emails.But I can not send any message. when i send email thunderbird ask me the password,but when i input the right password ,client told me auth error.....

I also remove all password from my setting.But can not resolved.

Is anybody had the same error?Please help me!!!!

Incorrect server settings can also cause the password error. i would get a current list of server settings from your email provider and compare those with what you have in Thunderbird.

You need to be looking at the SMTP server settings for send problems.

From the Menu Bar select Tools-Account Settings-Outgoing Server (SMTP)

Select the problem account and use the Edit button to make changes.

No menu bar showing? Press the alt key.

An overly aggressive antivirus software can cause issues too.
