Attempting to launch thunderbird I receive the following error (process:7154): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed I have attempted to restart my computer, reinstall the program, and change the permission so I am the owner(not root) of everything in my .gnome2 and .gnome2_private. I always attemped running this (process:7154): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion 'sys_page_size == 0' failed this also does not work. What does work is running thunderbird in safe mode or running as root, niether are satisfactory however.

Safe mode success would indicate a bad add-on or Theme.

I have removed all add-ons and themes and the problem persists.
