Working with email addresses I inadvertently got one of my addresses listed twice. I removed what appeared to be the most current listing but when it was removed it also deleted my email inbox and all messages I had intended to be left. I can see the messages on my computer (in my documents) but cannot figure out how get them to show up again in Thunderbird. The import feature does not have a feature to import the messages (inbox etc) from the computer.

Is there a way to import the past messages and just have them added to the inbox that is currently being formed?
