I use Window 7 OS and am infected by a browser redirect. It's always a variant of "helpingtrk.com/ . . ." . It appears on all browsers and follows to most Internet sites I visit.

It appears most frequently as a window with a redirect button that reads: ********* Dear Amazon.com user,

Congratulations! You have been randomly chosen to receive some exclusive gifts from our team (all worth over $50!)

We ask that you first participate in a quick, 30 second survey about your Amazon experience. (survey is 100% anonymous) No Thanks **********

The "Amazon.com" morphs to whatever website I'm on, but if followed to my lower L corner, it's perpetually trying to redirect to "helpingtrk.com/ . . . " . Tech support just left after an hour of failing to rectify the problem. My password protected Medscape.com site displayed with three separate redirects to 3 distinct vendors, but the bottom L was always addressed "www.helpingtrk.com/ . . ."

Sincerely, Mark

the-edmeister (Moderator),

I executed all the suggestions @ http://www.2-security.com/fix-helpingtrk-com-redirection/ prior to hiring a Windows browser expert. He came to me and spend two hours with my Windows 7 OS machine, inspecting all Firefox add-ons, and extensions before spending a healthy amount of time investigating my registry.

Two hours later he conceded failure. He did suggest consulting you about the following website and whether it has a positive track record with others so infected.

I look forward to your reply.
