My junk mail folder has suddenly disappeared. Now all mail marked as junk goes into my deleted folder. How do I re-instate my junk folder?

I use Thunderbird for all my email. I have accounts with Yahoo and Gmail. Recently, my junk mail folder disappeared, and now all mail marked as junk goes into my deleted folder, which means it is all mixed up with standard deleted emails. Also it means I am unable to check for junk mail without going into my deleted folder and searching there. Please, how do I re-instate my junk mail folder?

Chosen solution

On TB serversetup page for Gmail and Yahoo you have the option "prenumeration of folders" (my translation) probably you just have to mark the box for junk.

Thanks for that solution. In fact, on the accounts settings page, under junk settings, it merely needed the box marked "move new junk messages to" to be ticked. It then created a junk folder under each account. Result
