I am using a MAC laptop with version 10.10.2 Yosemite. When I open Firefox I only get the red and green buttons in the upper left hand corner. I no longer have the center yellow button to minimize the window. Where did it go and more importantly, how do I get it back?

Could it be that you are in full screen mode (press Command+Shift+F to toggle)?

Try to rename (or delete) the xulstore.json file in the Firefox profile folder.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

Try to remove the Firefox plist file (org.mozilla.firefox.plist).

Go to "~/Library/Preferences" and remove the plist file for Firefox (org.mozilla.firefox.plist)
