Rcvd a Firefox "Software Update" which said: "A security and stability update for FF has been downloaded & is ready to be installed" Update: FF 37.0.2 Message has the option to restart now or later. I'm on ver 37.0.1 and FF says it is the MOST RECENT! Is this safe (from Mozilla) or a Scam/Phishing attempt? What to do????

There is a 37.0.2 that came out recently. If you don't trust the installation prompt, cancel it. You can check using the Help menu, About Firefox. Either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > About Firefox
  • (menu bar) Help > About Firefox
