rollover on links sends traffic to link address

OS Mavericks, 38.0.1 Firefox.

When I roll over any link on a webpage Little Snitch throws an alert that Firefox is trying to send traffic to the address associated with the link. This is new behavior in the last month.

I do not have this problem with the Safari browser.
