sir/mam,

first of all thank you for providing always a heart winning service, since the launch of fire fox, iam using it and is a great fan of mozilla firefox, because it is simple, straight, fast ,and secure and also we can modify its every bit . you did same about thunder bird, but you made it a very cumbersome process to use thunder bird, all the time i download thunder bird, but could not find a way how to use it? Even if i say that in india, people know about thunder bird hardly and how to use it , it will clear that thuder bird have lots of options and it should have, but either you should give information on how to use it or you should keep it as simple and as easy as fire fox is, you just need two modes for thunder bird one is lite mode for beginers, and one is advance mode for experts, and you should teach your user a new thing every time whenever they use thunder bird, in this way biginers will become experts. and same teching method you should use in your firefox, because if people will not have knowledge of what function does fire fox or thunder bird give then why would they use firefox and thunder bird?

Please don't use leading spaces. It makes your text near impossible to read.

The thing you need to understand is that it is an email client, and it is used to work with one or more email accounts all in one place. The alternative is to use webmail, where you go to each account in its own webpage. This requires logging in separately for each account, and learning all the quirks and foibles of each website. Thunderbird lets you do it all in one place, all accounts managed alike.

Here is a manual: http://en.flossmanuals.net/thunderbird/

It's a bit out of date but gives you a general idea of what you can do in Thunderbird.

I should also add that Firefox is actively developed by Mozilla and has ongoing support and paid staff.

Thunderbird, on the other hand, is being maintained by volunteer effort and there simply isn't enough to go around. So please don't expect "tip of the day" or similar; there simply isn't the manpower to do this kind of thing.
