1) I tried to upgrade Firefox but my malware application (Stopzilla) prevented this because it appeared that the upload script had the couponerific virus. 2) I uninstalled firefox using control panel/ programs and features. 3) I tried to reinstall firefox using Firefox Setup Stub 40.0.2. This is blocked by Stopzilla and two couponerific viruses are found. These are purged 4) Thereafter, full scans using Stopzilla, Malwarebits and Avast reveal nothing. 5) does you Firefox Setup Stub 40.0.2 include couponerific? 6) would I be able to download the firefox installation file directly (not via the stub)?

Firefox for Windows, Mac OSX or Li9nux from www.mozilla.org or the full setup (for Windows) at www.mozilla.org/firefox/all does not come with any extra crap like couponerific.

Stopzilla has no relation to Mozilla in anyway.

Some antivirus and malware scanners can still have false positives on the stub installer but not the full setup on Windows even though the stub option has existed since Firefox 18.0
