Connection timeout.
Am attempting to use online banking from Italy to the U.S. but WiFi is apparently too slow and FireFox times out on login. As per numerous recommendations, have tweaked network.http.connection-retry-timeout [to 600] and network.http.connection-timeout [to 600] and network.http.response.timeout [to 600] and network.http.tcp_keepalive.short_lived_time [to 600] without effect. Timeout continues to occur at precisely 60 seconds. How to extend the timeout?

There are proxy websites available that may be able to help. Also, contact the bank and ask about this.

The server can set the timeout connection as well. Does it only happen with one site?
It might be possible to check out who makes the last communication, the server or the browser request. (4xx is the code for the browser, and 500 or 200 is usually the server)
If it happens with multiple sites, is there an antivirus or is there a difference in a private window?
Thank you. As it turned out, my bank's server in the U.S. was simply refusing to accept connections with IPs outside the U.S., and no extension of timeout at the FireFox end would have helped. Exactly who was imposing the sixty second timeout was never determined.
