how do we log on to thunderbird server and get our old addresses back old computor H/D cant surrender info

Our computer recently died and after attempts at 2 locations we were informed that no info could be obtained. Is there a way to retrieve our old email addresses from the thunderbird server?

Chosen solution

There is no Thunderbird server. It is email client software that runs on your computer. If you cannot get the info off the old drive and you did not make a backup your address book is gone.
