My quick filter no longer shows "sender", "recipient", "subject", etc. How do I get this back?

Since a sender, recipient, subject, and/or content is not picked (because the option to pick any or all of them doesn't show up on the "Quick filter" toolbar), the filter doesn't filter.

Have you tried typing some text into the quickfilter search box? I think this will prompt those four buttons to appear.

You posted in the Firefox support fora queue. Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

If your problem is with Thunderbird, let us know and we can move this thread to the Thunderbird support queue.
