How do I unlock my taskbar so that the 'icons' are clickable?

With the taskbar being disabled, I cannot open the menu in the bottom left-hand corner which includes the list of EVERYTHING on my computer, including the search feature..........I also have shortcuts on the taskbar.

Hmm, maybe... if Firefox is in its full screen mode, all toolbars normally disappear.

The key on the keyboard to switch into and out of full screen mode is F11.

You also can usually escape it by sliding the mouse pointer to the top of the screen and watching for the toolbars to slide down. At that point, there are two typically ways to cancel full screen. Either:

  • click the "3-bar" menu button on the main Firefox toolbar, then the Full Screen button
  • right-click a blank part of the tab bar at the very top of the screen > Exit Full Screen Mode

Was that it?

Is the problem that the Taskbar is blocked from view, or that nothing happens when you click on it?

Is the Windows Taskbar locked / disabled even when you exit out of Firefox, or does the problem only occur when you are using Firefox?
