Why do I get "gibberish" in my email when I try to forward a message?

Whenever I try to "forward" a message I get computer "gibberish" in the body of the message. I've included a screen shot. What is the "fix" for this?

In the Menu, View|Headers|Normal

You can get the traditional menu by pressing alt or F10, or use the toolbar button,

|View|Headers|Normal
