Firefox used to look great, but at the last update (57.0) it has changed appearance dramatically, and now looks like that Windows 10 rubbish, all "square corners" and no detail on the tabs (infact, the tabs have gone all black and merged with each other)

How do I get it back to how it was before? or can I just revert the update?

hi, firefox quantum also comes with a light theme that you can switch to when go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > themes panel ;-)

That improves it, but it still looks poor. All the tabs have a very basic "square" look, very thin/poor dividers between each tab etc.

This used to look fine, now it looks like Win10. Is there a way to easily revert to the previous version? I could just disable updates.
